Website design
WordPress websites built around your organization.
Clear information, a credible presentation, useful features, and an obvious next step for your visitors. We design and build in WordPress, then stay on to look after it.
Every site we make is built for the job, not off the shelf
Where are you starting?
Every project starts somewhere different.
A brand-new site, a redesign, or a smaller first step. We'll recommend the scope that fits, including the smaller option when it's the right one.
01
A new website
Starting fresh, or starting over. We plan the pages, organize the content with you, design it, and build it in WordPress.
02
A redesign
Your site works but no longer reflects you. We keep what is valuable, including the pages people already find in search, and rebuild the rest.
03
A focused first launch
Sometimes the right answer is a strong launch now and more pages later. A phased plan gets you online sooner without cutting corners.
04
Improving what you have
Not every problem needs a rebuild. We can fix, extend, and tidy an existing WordPress site, and tell you honestly when it isn't worth it.
Design
Our design, or yours.
Most projects start from our own design work, shaped around your brand, your audience, and what you need visitors to do. We also build from a partner agency's supplied layouts, brand assets, and typography, and we check font and asset licensing along the way.

How it works
From first call to launch day.
Timing depends on scope, content readiness, and feedback. You'll get a realistic plan before we start, not a promise we can't keep.
step 1
Discovery
Your goals, your audience, your content, and what success looks like.
step 2
Content
Who writes what, which photos we need, and what moves over from your current site.
step 3
Design review
You see the design before it is built, and we refine it together.
step 4
Build
WordPress, built properly: fast, accessible, and easy for your team to edit.
step 5
Testing & launch
Phones, tablets, forms, and redirects checked before the switch is flipped.
step 6
Ongoing care
Hosting, updates, and a team that already knows your site when you need the next thing.
The work reveals the worker.
Selected work
Just a few sites from the workshop.
Home builders and campgrounds, foodservice brands and nonprofits: websites we have designed, built, and look after.
Behind the pages, they do real work: inquiry and quote forms, donations and giving, events and calendars, reservations through the right booking service, directories, private file sharing, and resource collections, each scoped to what the organization actually needs.

A simpler start
Need a simpler starting point?
SlightSites are one-page websites: what you do, who you serve, where to find you, and a way to get in touch. A good fit when you need to be online properly this month rather than perfectly next quarter, and they can grow into a larger site later. Ask us whether it fits.
Questions
Before you start.
The questions people ask before they commit to a build.
Can you work with our existing site?
Often, yes. We'll look at what you have, tell you what is worth keeping, and suggest whether to improve it or rebuild it.
Who supplies the copy and photos?
You know your organization best, so we usually start from your content and shape it together. We can help write, edit, and source photography when that is part of the plan.
Can we update the content ourselves?
Absolutely. Your site is built so your team can update text, photos, and posts, and we’ll show you how. But you don’t have to. Many clients decide their time is better spent running their business and simply send changes our way. We can help as needed or set up ongoing support for regular updates.
What affects the schedule of a new build or redesign?
Mostly scope, content readiness, and feedback time. We set a realistic plan at the start and keep you posted as we go.
What happens after launch?
Launch is really just the beginning. Most clients stay with us for managed hosting and ongoing care, which keeps the site connected to the tools, licenses, monitoring, and BrightFrame features we provide as part of our service. If you ever decide to host elsewhere, the website is yours and we'll help with a proper handoff...just keep in mind that some of the tools and functionality included with our hosting may need to be replaced or licensed separately.
Let's talk about your website.
Tell us where things stand and what you'd like to change. We'll tell you whether it needs a rebuild, a repair, or nothing at all, and what it would cost, before anything gets built.
